They say beauty’s only skin deep. Well, when it comes to true beauty, we happen to think your skin is the most important aspect. Beautiful, clear skins glows with a confident radiance that demands attention. It lets your inner beauty shine out, and gives you a glowing aura! Flawless skin is at the top of most girl’s lists. It’s certainly at the top of mine. But, how exactly do you achieve the perfect look? The right diet:

Lots of girls think that the key to beautiful skin is found in expensive serums, oils, and tons of makeup. Well, I’m afraid there’s a lot of work to do before you even touch the concealer! Beautiful skin isn’t about covering it up and hiding it with makeup. You’ve got to start with the right diet. It’s time to remove fats and salts from your daily intake. Reduce your reliance on dairy foods, and look for healthier alternatives. Fruit, vegetables, and nuts are your new food bible.

Water:

The quickest way to achieve glowing skin is by drinking lots of water. And I mean lots! The experts suggest you should drink at least eight glasses a day. The top models drink around double that (but let’s not get carried away now!) Start by drinking a couple more glasses a day, and see where that gets you. Your skin needs lots of water to stay hydrated. Dry skin is easy to spot. It’s flaky, lifeless, and coarse.

Sleep:

Notice how we still haven’t touched any magic remedies, serums, or makeup yet? Trust me, a change in lifestyle is much more important. Next up, you need your beauty sleep! At least 7-8 hours sleep a night is essential (I might let you off for a crazy night at the weekend!) Lots of sleep allows the cells in your skin to rehydrate and rebuild themselves. This process will bring your skin to life and give you a glowing look.

 Avoid hot showers:

That first steamy shower in the morning could be your biggest problem. When the skin gets warm and steamy, the body’s protective oils melt and escape. It means the moisture in the skin can will quickly get out, and you’ll end up with dry skin. I know, I know, it’s a cruel world. Only here could a wet shower make your skin drier!

Exfoliation and moisturiser:

If you do suffer from dry skin, the first thing to do is get rid of the dead skin cells. You can do that with a simple exfoliating scrub or cream. Sunscreen:

Lastly, if you’re looking for a miracle serum or cream, look no further than sunscreen. It’s the single most effective way to protect your skin.
